Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC) with Lane Centring*^

iACC helps maintain your speed when you’re on the road and with Stop & Go#, can slow down your Everest if traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. Lane Centring scans lane markings to help keep you on track.

Lane Keeping System with Road Edge Detection*

Designed with road-trips in mind, Everest can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the carriageway. So advanced, it’s been designed to detect unmarked paved roads with soft verges, gravel hard shoulders and grass edges.

360-Degree Camera

Imagine being able to look down from above for a 360-degree birds eye view of everything around your vehicle. Everest’s smart systems combine information from all cameras and present this view to you on the large center screen for easier and safer parking and maneuvering.

Pre-Collision Assist with Intersection*

Everest can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian in front of you and now, while turning at intersections. If you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically.

Evasive Steer Assist*

If Pre-collision Assist determines the distance is too short to brake in time to avoid a collision, your Everest will provide steering support (without steering for you) to help you avoid the obstacle.

Reverse Brake Assist*-

Your Everest can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and if you don’t react in time will brake for you.

Active Park Assist 2.0*|

For times when you don’t want to do it yourself, the new active park assist feature will automatically guide you into the parking spot. Simply hold down the Park Aid button, and Everest will steer, accelerate and brake for you.

Restraints System: Up to 9 Airbags

Every seating position comes with an advanced seatbelt system and additional airbag system as needed. And in a first for Everest, there are now up to 9 airbags available, including an airbag in between the front passengers, giving extra protection from side impacts.

BLIS with Trailer Coverage*+]

Next-Gen Everest takes blind-spot-detection to the next level. BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Trailer Coverage+ can alert you if a vehicle is detected in your Everest’s or trailer’s blind spot. It’s added peace of mind and makes for safer and less stressful driving.

*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions.

^ACC with Lane Centring has a minimum operating speed of 20km/hr. Detection of lower speed limit will result in system entering standby. The Stop & Go functionality of this system operates as low as 0km/hr in traffic jam situations.
#If vehicle is stopped for more than three seconds, driver must intervene and press “RES” button or accelerator pedal to resume the system operation (Need to confirm Stop & Go functionality).

x Intersection Assist does not detect all vehicles in intersection, pedestrians or cyclists. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for Limitations.

+Trailer Coverage system supports conventional trailer dimensions: up to 2.4m wide (measured at trailer front) and up to 10m long from the rear of your vehicle.
